MYKONOS
Surrounded by the warm waters of the Aegean Sea, Mykonos stands out as a cosmopolitan hotspot.
known for its lively nightlife--with massive clubs such as Cavo Paradiso-- its a favorite for world famous DJs David Guetta and Calvin Harris and celebrities from Mariah Carey to Leonardo DiCaprio.
But Mykonos is much more than just a party island: picturesque 16th century windmills, pristine beaches, whitewashed buildings and vibrant bougainvillea create a quintessential Greek ambiance. The beauty of little Venice, and the nearby archaeological site, the island of Delos, add to this island's allure.
Little Venice of Mykonos
The Little Venice of Mykonos is one of the most beautiful and most photographed areas of the island. It is also known as Alevkandra, since in Greek "levkanoun" means "to wash" and in this area women washed clothes. It is located in the lower part of the capital and its beauty is due to the group of houses built on the water, like in Venice – hence its name.
In fact, they were built this way because in the past the basements of houses were used as warehouses for pirate loot. These are 18th century houses with two or three floors and colorful wooden balconies that overlook the sea. Many tourists look for accommodation in this beautiful neighborhood to enjoy the sea views, the atmosphere and its good location, close to many of the most visited places.
Although this accommodation is old fishermen's huts paid at luxury hotel prices. And some artists have settled in some of the picturesque houses attracted by the magic of little Venice.
Currently, the neighborhood has extended towards the Kastro area. And on the ground floor of many of these houses are some of the most visited cocktail bars on the island, as well as art galleries exhibiting artists based on the island. Not far from Little Venice there is the central square of the capital, the Mykonos Cathedral and a very old Catholic church.
Sunsets in Mykonos
Just like on the island of Santorini, Mykonos sunsets are a must. One of the best places to experience this moment are the balconies or bars of Little Venice, since from there you can see how the sun dyes the sea and the old town of the city in pink and violet colors.
Corfú
Located in the Ionian Sea, this charming island enchants visitors with its lush landscapes,Venetian architecture and azure waters. It's spectacular beaches range from secluded coves to bustling shores like Paleokastritsa, perfect for both relaxation and water sports enthusiasts.
A must on everyone's bucket list should be the small, picturesque town of Sedari, one of the most beautiful villages on the island, where you'll find the iconic Canal D'Amor. Legend has it that if a couple can swim through the channel that has been formed by the rocks, they will stay together forever.

SANTORINI
There many reasons why Santorini is one of the top travel destinations in the world.
This volcanic island, surrounded by turquoise waters, unique black sand beaches, and the iconic, blue- domed churches, is a magical experience.
Fira, the capital, is postcard perfect. Perched on caldera cliffs, it can only be reached by cable car or donkey.
Adding to all this beauty are the friendly people, exquisite wines, and delectable cuisine. You certainly can't leave without trying the national dish, moussaka.
DELOS
The island of Delos is the most sacred island of antiquity and the birthplace of Apollo. It is a completely uninhabited island one nautical mile from Mykonos. It is the small boats and boats that connect it with Mykonos.
According to mythology, it served as a refuge for Leto to give birth to Apollo and Artemis, avoiding the wrath of Hera. It gained importance after the colonization of the Iónians (1000 years BC), when the cult of Apollo, god of light and music, began.
Another curiosity is the prohibition of births or deaths on the island. Its history and archaeological site are very interesting, so it is advisable to be somewhat informed to enjoy it better.
